“In a completely rational society, the best of us would be teachers and the rest of us would have to settle for something else.” ~Lee Iacocca

I am happy to say that I passed the NASM yesterday!  The NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) is a respected and NCCA accredited certification.  Although I already had a decent certification, I chose to pursue the NASM because it is valued by the industry as being higher quality.

As I began the study for the certification, I found that I already knew most of the fundamentals of safe and effective exercise progressions.  The study gave language to the things I already knew (anatomy and specific muscular development).

I have been blessed to have had many wonderful teachers and because of their tutelage,  I was well prepared to study for and pass the exam.  Thanks to their instruction, Mr. Don Wallen, Darrell Carr, Mimi Ray, Kara Schmidt – I already knew the best and safest ways to train the body.  Now, I have a national certification as a testament to their teaching methods!

What an incredible blessing to be guided under the hand of a competent teacher.  I am deeply grateful for all that I have learned from them.  Many thanks to you all from the bottom of my heart!
