As I spent the last few weeks moving the studio and trying to gather myself back together after the long and challenging winter, I find myself at a grand turning point in my life. Truly, the new studio is my dream come true! It’s light, airy, big enough and yet, not too big. It’s fabulous.

On the other hand, I am tired and challenged to get everything wrapped up. Were it not for my awesome and fabulous clients (who are also family and friends) who came to my rescue on Friday and Saturday, pitching in with painting, cleaning up, bringing water and supplies, I wouldn’t even be close to finishing! I am moved to tears and humbled by their generosity. What an outpouring of love!

Today, as the end is nearing, and the new beginning starting, I am going to do what I can, the best I can and leave it at that. I may not finish all that I want to, when I want to and how I want to, but it will suffice. I will open the doors to the new studio on Thursday with a smile and in thankfulness to my clients while closing the door to the old, with a bittersweet smile and a heart of gratitude for the building block that our first, little home provided us.

Today, you too, can do what you can, the best you can, and leave the rest. Leave the undoable and free your mind from any guilt or regrets. Open wide your heart to the future and meet it with your best!
