Struggle Leads to Breakthroughs

Struggle Leads to Breakthroughs

By : -

“Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion.  I myself prefer to laugh since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.” ~Kurt Vonnegut

Sometimes when we struggle, we allow ourselves to become frustrated, fearful, judgmental or listless.  We may want to quit or worst of all, blame ourselves.  Have you reached a point in your practice where you are struggling?  Do you want to quit instead of re-focusing and persevering?  Sometimes, just as we are struggling the most, want to give up the most, feel the most defeated, we are on the edge of a breakthrough.

During our most difficult times, if we can just tread water, stay the course and hold on, we can reach through the struggle and emerge victorious on the other side.

As you work through your own personal struggles this week, stay focused.  Remember to stay true to whatever is important to you and when all else fails, laugh instead of crying.

Namaste,

Susie

Susie, the practice of perseverance is a big one for me. I tend to give up, or move on too quickly. I love the idea of laughing when feeling the struggle…it lightens up the overall tone, and relieves some of the pressure.
